Sheriff's Clean Community Improvement Program (SCCIP)

Cleaning Clayton County Up One Road at a TimeThe SCCIP program was created to assist with cleaning up the community. It targets TRASH and GRAFITI! The program utilizes four Correctional Officers and uses inmate labor to complete the work.

Between January 01, 2013, and April, 2015, the program has used inmates to:

- Remove over 1,477 TOTAL TONS of tires and debris from Clayton County streets!

- Cleaned and maintained more than 20 graffiti locations.

- Cleared and sustained approximately 30 abated properties.

- Maintained the grounds around the Clayton County Harold R. Banke Justice Complex.
